International Urban Wildlife Conference 2023

International Urban Wildlife Conference 2023

4th June 2023 – 7th June 2023

The Wildlife Society Urban Wildlife Working Group's primary goal is to increase public awareness and appreciation of urban wildlife management issues and the decision making processes that promote urban wildlife conservation and mitigate human-wildlife conflict in urban settings. Working group membership is available to members of the The Wildlife Society. The Wildlife Society's mission is to represent and serve the professional community of scientists, managers, educators, technicians, planners, and others who work actively to study, manage, and conserve wildlife and habitats worldwide. The Urban Wildlife Working Group was officially recognized in March 1999 as a working group of The Wildlife Society. As professional urban wildlife researchers and managers, we engage with our respective local wildlife management agencies and research institutions focused on critical urban wildlife issues. As working group members, we promote the exchange of information among the broader membership of The Wildlife Society, including those interested in urban wildlife management, to enhance knowledge and technical capabilities of wildlife professionals in the area of urban wildlife management.
